Intermittent issue with my SS80 on failure to reset. Keep trigger pulled after firing, after brass ejects, and new round chambers I then release pressure on the trigger. The trigger does not reset and the barrel does not go into battery. This can be simulated with “Dry Fire” by racking the slide while keeping trigger depressed.
Comparing parts on my SS80 with parts on my Glock 43, I found a few potential issues.
Image on the right is Glock Factory 43 slide. Image on the left is aftermarket slide. Take a look on the left side where the extractor is located. The aftermarket slide is not machined away in the area below the extractor. On my SS80 (depending on what trigger is installed) the trigger bar will hang up on the part that sticks forward.
